Ive waded through tutorials, tools, and trial and error for an unhealthy number of hours before going here...so bare with me if I simply missed the obvious anyway... Ive made myself a custom skin for the mountain king (a dwarf slayer for a warhammer aos im making) and have hit a brick wall: how do I get this into the game? I know I could replace the MK skin, but I need that as well...could anyone lend me some advice on this? |

If you need both skins in the same map, you need to edit the model. Check out the modelling forum and search for your answer. |

Extract the MK file from the MPQ. Rename it MountainKing2.mdx. Convert it to MDL and open it in notepad. Change the place where it mentions "textures\mkskin.blp" (or whatever it is) to a path such as... textures\mkskin2.blp Then convert it back to mdx and import it and the skin into the map and change the path of the blp to whatever you said, if you used the one above it would be textures\mkskin2.blp |
