I just read pencilGods's skinning tutorial. I am trying to edit skins and so far it was going pretty good. But hen when I tried to open my creation in image extractor, it says the file has "unsupported compression". I would like to know what this is and how I can fix it. Thank you for your time. |

First off, this belongs on the skinning board (but I'm only the moderator there, not here so no moving fun for me :P). As for your problem, whatever program you're using, save it as a 32 bit compression. If you're using Paint Shop Pro 8, then you need to get a different version or Photoshop because due to some bug or something you're not able to save it properly for use in WC3. |

I had the same problem in PSP 7 when I first started.. When I went to save the file, in the browse menu, underneath save there should be a button labeled "Options".. In there, you can turn off compression, and that's what fixed it for me.. |

i had this error on paint shop pro 8. the things that cause it are either when you use the wrong file compressions, or when you use an effect (like emboss, or color pencil). I tried making a stone naga, but when i undid the effects of the program, it opened perfectly :ggani: |

If you made a skin in PsP 8(paint shop pro 8) you cant convert it using Wc3 Image extractor 2,You need to use Warcraft 3 Viewer(wc3 viewer)!:D |
