Multiple Levels on unit abilities - It's possible!

I dunno if it was mentioned before, but look at what I found:
  • Take any ability and convert it to a hero ability with 3 levels for example.
  • Modify the level fields. And convert the ability to a unit ability
  • Create a custom upgrade with the effect: Ability level bonus. And choose your custom spell.
  • Now make a unit have that unit ability, and use the custom upgrade.
Voila, now you can have multiple levels of abilities on a unit. You can either make the upgrade available through a research, or just use triggers for special condition (For example, ability level increases every 10 kills).

Have fun!

Is This really that new? I always knew that was the way Raise Dead worked with the Skeleton Mage,

However, a lot of people will find this helpful

I never knew that either. Very interesting. I guess sometimes old things have to be "rediscovered" to bring them to the attention of the newbies like me who weren't around when it was first realized. That or someone could start a "Nifty tricks of WE" tutorial to try and catalogue them.
