Incomplete Sentry skin for download.

Hey all. Been awhile since I posted my work here, but I decided to come give away a half-completed skin I'd been working on but decided to cancel. It is based on the sentry model, and is mostly complete except for the armour bits (shoulders, bracers, skirt thing), where I was experimenting with ideas. I will send the skin to anyone who private messages me between today (10/22) and tomorrow (10/23).

This is the first skin that I've made available to the public, and while it was intended for ToB as usual, I decided the model just isn't what I was looking for for the hero. I won't be at all offended if you edit it yourselves or distribute it, but I won't be giving it out personally after the 23rd.

The hair is easily "fixed" if you are so inclined - the bauble is just a small bit near her forehead that you can edit out, and it will be all blue. The skirt is a repeat of the pattern on the larger of her two shoulderpads, except for the upper part, which I hadn't touched yet when I stopped working on it. Also, like all of my skins, this one is low-res.

There is no icon included with this skin.

Feel free to critique here, but I will not be working on the skin further. =) Once again, PM me today or tomorrow if you would like the .blp.

impressive.. I'm amazed you got so much detail around the bust, the different ideas I've been trying keep stretching in ways other than I hoped..

Hair is kinda messed up... Also hip area looks weird. Are there toes on her boots? emote_sweat

Try editing the skin, Muo. =) The hair is a handful of pixels above her face (there's noplace else to texture it). Hair is really important to this hero idea, so that was really 'bleh' when I found out. Hip seems like a model problem - another reason not to use her. ^^ Bottom is supposed to be her skin, but Sentry has MegaMan-huge legs, so it looks more like boots than flesh. I just really didn't want boots for this concept.

You can see why I discarded the idea.

Wow I love it, she is beaufitul I don't think there is anything wrong with her.

Well, seeing as you won't be working on it further I won't criticize anything ;) In either case, amazing job as usual, even not finished. I wanted to comment on her face...I love it! :D I really like how the skin seems streched back at the end, it actually looks really nice. Oh, and nice to see you posting your work again, do it more often. :ggani:

Thanks. I've another skin I don't have posted here, but judging by its reception on the ToB forums, I doubt I'll like the reaction here.

Probably one of those cases where "if you don't want criticism, don't post your skin" works best.

is that what was going to be that ice sentry? I think it looks damn cool. Do you have any plans for the warden on TOB btw, I give up on that one for TOB related things anyways.

yeah her model sucks, it pissed me off too much to bother continuing on it. So you are not using the ice sentry for TOB?
