I am currently working on my own campaign and I was trying to model a Tauren Chieftain without the Totems but since EVERY EXPORTER I HAVE USED DOES NOT WORK i am trying to figure out how in the skin I can make a part invisble without deleting the actual part? Much like when people complain that their skin is see through how do i make a imported skin see through?

I don't quite understand your question. You're saying that you want help with Alpha channels (which are changed in Photoshop and any other image editing program); But you're also mentioning that you are trying to model it. Which do you mean? Do you want help with skinning it (I.E. the alpha channels in an image editing program) or modeling it (I.E. in a modeling program) because from what I understand you might be in the wrong board.

sorry i wasnt clear, my bad...

I am using Adobe Photoshop 7.01 and I want to know how to make a certain portion of the skin transparent. so that the part of the model using that section of the skin becomes transparent. In other words, make a part of the model go bye-bye by the means of making that parts skin transparent.

So i dont have to go into the actual modelling program and delete that part of the model, becuase I can never get the programs to export right.

Since the "totems" of th eTauren Cheiftan have team colors on them, I doubt you can alpha them out. I understand the reason, as the totems look kinda rediculous, and make re-skinning the cool model hard, especially with those big things on his back.

You will have to model it out, or get someone else to (a lot of people like helping). As for how to make alpha channels, check the many tutorials and help files, faqs, etc.....

either go to the modeling forum and ask for it or just ask here :)
