ok these questions are sorta unrelated, but here goes... 1. is JASS only for AI, or can u use it for triggering too (i also need a basic basic jass tut) ty 2. like in a single player campain, how do u save the hero er w/e so that in the next level, he has the items, abilities, and same attributes as the previous mission. i beleive this is called "game cache" ? ty and ty 'zuljin |

And I have one question for you: Why do noobs such as yourself seem to think that Warcraft Editing Tools means Map Development? I just can't seem to figue it out. Is it the big scary M in 'Map'? Cause I don't seem to remember that scaring me. Or maybe you just can't read. Man I get really pissed of when people post map dev qs in this forum! |

well i was on the wc tools forum, and got a slam in the head with a question that has saying to me: "flamesforzuljin-ask THIS question" and i didnt wanna loose my train of thought, so i just made a thread here. no, i dont really reefer to myself as "flamesforzuljin" i reefer to myself as "hey, dude" lol sry no hard feelins flames' |

1) To find out more about Jass, go here: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/f...?s=&forumid=65 Yes, it can be used for triggering. Actually, every trigger you do in the WE generates Jass code. 2) Look at Blizzards maps to figure out how game cache works. @35263526: Basically you are right. But I just suggest to help those people and then tell them that they are in the wrong forum. |

Finally! Someone correctly types my name! As I said before, I'm sorry I was harsh. I had a bad day, I was tired, and so when I saw that I just blew up. I have seen the error of my ways and shall now endeavor to help those lost souls who post in the wrong forum as my attempt at redemption. |
