Well i decided to make the ghoul look more demon like. I added blood to teeth, changed fur to black, added flesh instead of raggedy flesh look, he's red.... he's pretty cool... His spine is white, i dont want to add skin to that i'd look different I'm open to complements AND COMMENTS BUT only ones that tell me my weakness and how to improve. I don't want you suck or something dum |

Can you say Recolour, and Shading? |

Exactly the comment i wasn't looking for.... First of all, a skin is recoloring a model... so technically all skins are re-colors.... A recolor is more or less when you just change the armor red you don't make anything new... I changed around the his cloth pieces, patched up his skin, added blood to teeth, made tongue better, redid face all together, made fur black, and some other sutff i forgot about. And if you think it's bad tell how i can improve. Negative ocmments just lead me to quitting... Negative comments + how to improve lead only to sucess. well yea, i know i should expect some people like you... |

i agree, all skins are recolors in a technical sense, but personally, you have had a lot of threads posted recentley with skins that aren't very good (no offense you just need work) i tihnk you need to work on shading for alot of them, instead of just using one solid color. |

And also, its not just shading. Add some texture. If all the red is supposed to be muscle, then have a bunch of thin darker red lines going in the direction of the muscle. Things like that will make it look a lot better. Also, the blood on the teeth doesnt look very much like blood. Take the burn tool and get a dark red on a low opacity and use that for blood instead. It will look a lot better. |

Any ideas on what i could add artisticly? I couldn't think of much to make it more demon-like. It's quite red based at the moment though... I mean in WC3 Viewer it looks pretty well shaded\burned\yea, but ingame looks just Red, Black, And White... Someone got an idea? |

I like it but as said before it needs more shading Edit: us e burn'n'dodge |

To shade it, just use the burn and dodge tool here and there and you'll get the feel of it. Once you do, use a small brush size (I guess something like 2-4 pixels would be good) and use burn on places where muscles are supposed to be, just burn the area, then right under or on top of burnt areas, trace with dodge. |
