The New Point System

I think it is a rather good idea, and with strategic and smart posting, some of you can gain really fast, while spammers will go very slowly.

PS: this is not a place to complain about your lost post counts.

It's not like there isn't enough spam on these boards already... This will only add to that. Wouldn't it be better if mods and such just get to award people who post useful posts and don't spam?

I think we should form point guilds, that disaprove warring guild's posts, and approve their guilds/allies posts

By the way, the orc theme still has posts, not points.

Oh... I had it on the Human theme, I was wondering why I couldn't see anybody's points, and it still said posts...

But I think it can be a good idea. If the idiots and spammers can get their post counts removed, it could proove to be useful... except I'm still against the fact that you can change your username or change the titles of other users. That should definitely be changed soon. It can be abused way too easily.

Instead of posts, we use points now. For every post you make, you get 1 point, and you get points if a topic of yours gets a certain number of views or posts. Read the news topic for more information.

Only valid posts will earn points right?
How many posts do I need until I can change the title under my name?
I mean does this not work in offtopic because i have a thread in mature discussion with over 100 posts and more than 1000 views and i only have 1 lousy point

No, you wont get points by posting, read the news posts please, you get them by people rating you, by people viewing your threads(offtopic doesent counts, yes...) and by ppl replying to your threads...
