I know that there's another Vampire Hunter Skin somewhere else, and I can fully say that I did not copy it. This skin could be almost anything, really.

Hey, don't go crazy, I have to improvise. The warden is one of the few skins that work for me.

The program I have can lighten and darken, but what exactly should I darken or lighten?

Ok, it looks to rainbow. Most begginners skins are always to rainbow! I HATE RAINBOW SKINS!

Besides that use shading like burn dodge and smeaarr tools

No, Oxalic, it is not rainbow, she has proper colours. I even drew the snake on her cloak.

Honestly, where do I shade?

what i would do is pop open the original version of the warden and where it has shadows and highlights i would put them on my version.
I'm still a n00b at skinning, in fact my first skin came out like that, only i used black so it did'nt look all that crazy. But i'm getting better. Practice, sure does work.
I would REALLY recommend photoshop 7, it's pretty simple and very good,.

Use many layers, keed the background the way it is and use it for referance. This method works best when you havent decided entirely on what you want to do, you can complete the same peice in differnt colors or design and compare the two.

uhm, Phobos, don't do that again pls, he didn't ask for a rating, and you are probably worse than he is, at least he freehands! Ur getting a D for that.

What is it that you want the skin to look like ? I mean, a vampire hunter, wouldn't wear that colorful clothes. It would be brown/red clothes, with limited markings.

that other vamp hunter was mine. look at mine and see how i made it human like. The skin on yours is too white. Also darken the colors and make them blend together easier. pm me if you want me to send you the tga if you want to see what i did to it.
