How about a friendly competition...

Maglok	I see some composers here. We got SoundSync, The Lord, some other people, me... I think we can just about do a friendly competition. :) The only problem would be the difference in quality, seeing as The Lord uses midi. But I am willing to write some tutorials on creating better sounding files from midi's. Do you think this is an idea or not?

Magic	Sure. I can't see it having a negative effect, as long as it results in some people improving their skills. :)

John_Drake	Sounds like a great idea to me... I can't compose personally, but I think it would help encourage the people that do. Also, it might draw some more attention to this board.

SOuNDSNC	Ya I'll perticipate in this competition ;) I can write a tutorial for fl studio 4 which you can get a demo version of off the net. What kind of music will be done in the friendly competition? I can write any kind. And I can do midi if The_Lord cant learn to make mp3's ~SOuNDSNC

Maglok	Lol, well not midi that one is for sure. :) I was thinking I would like post a picture of something. And then I do not mean a car or something, I mean something fantasy like. Like the destruction of the world tree for example. And we could all give our own interpetation of that picture in music. Course not as "easy" as the world tree, something you would have to use your imagination on.
