SKINNING & TEXTURING FORUM RULES

When posting , you MUST follow these rules:

• NO Pornographic Material. Any sexually oriented imagery or links to such content will not be tolerated.
• NO Warez or Illegal Software. This includes linking to software, posting about it, and suggesting to get it.
• NO Cursing or Swear words. We encourage you to use our comment sections as a forum to debate files, news, etc., but please use proper adjectives to express yourself. We will not tolerate abuse upon another member or author.
• DO NOT POST SKINS HERE! If you want to post skins post them in Skins Gallery. This includes Work in progress.
• DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES STEAL ANYONE'S WORK AND CLAIM IT'S YOURS. This includes drawing over parts of other peoples skins and calling it yours. If you really like the skin and just want to show it to people then talk to the skinner about it.
• NO Attacks / Retaliation (FLAMMING) of any kind against a member, or group of members.
• Before you post on a thread, look at the date (which can be found in the box under a user's information). Generally, if a thread is on the third or fourth page, if not farther, then it is most probably old enough to leave be. If a thread was there for two months and is located farther then the second page, then it's rather assuring that the poster will not continue work on that skin. Speaking of skins, if you would like to request the download for a skin PM the skinner, DO NOT post on the thread. If it's your thread and you have an update to post than its ok.
• The high interactivity of this site should be considered a luxury, not a right. If you cannot follow these simple rules, you can and will be banned from the comments, site or entire network for any period of time.

Also if you're trying to show off multiple skins in one post, make the image higher rather then wider.

I usually make my images width at most 600-720. As most people use 1024x768 or higher resolution. If I'm trying to show off like ten skins I'll crop each of my skins screenies to around 600x400 size or so, and then stack em so you end up with around a 600x2048 image.

I have seen some repeat offenders, and if I notice that they, or anyone else, keep resurrecting old threads, then either I or Allanon WILL warn you, so please, just leave old threads be.

You're right, that's the only exception to the rule.

Also. Please dont post a flame in the Off Topic forums saying: He is just trying to get points. You DONT GET ANY POINTS in the Offtopic forums.

There should be A Hack for the board that makes it so things older than 2 pages are locked. I miss Wolverine.

Do not under any circumstances steal anyone's work and say it is yours. If you really like the skin and just want to show it to people then talk to the skinner about it.

Fixed it. I just composed what everyone said into the format that white had. Also threw in a few myself. If i missed anyhting tell me.
