Ok now this is really getting me... Im gonna post my map and ask that someone open it up and tell me if there are any triggers in there that would make the map FREEZE warcraft about 2-6 seconds after it loads? I mean freeze as in no minimize.... I had to restart my computer! SCROLL DOWN NEAR THE BOTTOM TO FIND THE LATEST VERSION |

Some units have the Unknow 'Aloc' ability, take it away You have to add the Aloc ability with triggers, in fact with JASS, otherwise the game crashes. events a unit enter region Conditions Or Unit type of (Triggering unit) equal to (Unit type that needs the aloc ability 1) Unit type of (Triggering unit) equal to (Unit type that needs the aloc ability 2) Actions Custom Script: UnitAddAbilityBJ( 'Aloc', GetTriggerUnit()) |

Those have always been there.... =( It jnust started crashing.... but ill do that and see if it works |

I've given units the Aloc ability and it hasn't causes my map to crash. |

hmm, I tested it again without making changes, and it isn't crashing, perhaps it is something with your comp |

well I removed the Locust from the 3 guys that spawn at the beginning of the map... and added a trigger giving it to them Im scared to try my map now =/ My poor compy dont wanna restart... (even though it only takes like 20 seconds to do so) |

Thanks Vex, my map no crashy now =) Ok I played it once and it didnt crash. I was on undead that time The next time I loaded it for testing I was human and it crashed again! this is really starting to piss me off |

maybe it's because you picked the humans ?:) check all of the human units just to be sure... i doubt this will do anything, so might i sugest to check the latest video card drivers, and lowering res to lowest possible, and see if that is the problem....try playing other maps :) maybe it's the hardware thats buggin you :) |

Wrong topic Kane.... Ok I think it might be the move speed of my flying "credit" sheep... since it have the only non-tftwe property that I know of... a move speed of 999999... so Im gonna change that and see if it has a difference EDIT: NO IT DIDNT FRICKIN HELP OK NOW IM SERIOUSLY PISSED!!! |

have you tried reinstalling WC3 and TFT ? and checking your hardware ? maybe the cooler on your graph. card is not working and it just "freezes" when u load wc3 ? |

no ive played online and everything... ive had my video settings the way they are right now since i installed wc3 and no crashes ever except now |

Hmmm, how did I manage to miss this thread? anyways, since a kinda created the "engine" if you will, il take a look at it, but from what it sounds like it might be your comp, il edit this after I take a look. EDIT: wow thats odd, it did crash for me, so I took a look around and noticed the defeat trigger was triggered for the player not here thing. So I disabled it, then added a two second wait and an enable to the initalization. This worked fine until I clicked the menue button, apon witch it froze again. Try making that change yourself and see if it help at all. PS: to make it look like you didnt steal my map(witch you didnt) Change it to say Engine(or sumthing) created by Hunter0000, instead of just created. |
