I can't seem to make a waterfall. It's impossible. It's TEDIOUS. I just can't make it look right... it's all messed up. Dragging shallow water into shallow water at a lower lvl. Can somebody please help me here? |

No No No... I know that... lol. Take a look at Frostsabre for example... the top middle has some beautifully done waterfalls that go OFF of cliffs. You know... like a waterfall. |

I know what you mean. having water run directly off a cliff is hard to make and buggy. first you gotta raise the terrain one full level higher, then use shallow water near the edge of the gap. Go slowly, like one space at a time. It'll often bug up so you need to use ctrl + z and start again. Works better if the edge of the cliff is a straight line. Don't know if you understand what i mean but it's the best way i can explain it. |

Guest | Have you been able to get water on top of a cliff? I couldn't figure out how to achieve that. After placing the waterfall, use ctrl+right drag to adjust your camera views and ctrl+(nonnumpad)pgup and pgdn to raise lower it. You can use ctrl+numpad to move it around as well. |

on top of a cliff... use same technique but with 1 higher terrain level.... or 2, or ammount needed. |

One thing that might help...Under Tools/Advanced menu turn off enforce water height limits... |
