Just go here for an overview and download the new version. It fixes some bugs!

I post here now a screenshot of it to give you an overview of it (anyway, if you click HERE in my previous post, then you'll get the same screenshot and more info).

Nice job, I never thought of a tool for this stuff, sure beats tracking it down in the options menu ingame... :)

Also, add support to the "diret file loading". I got this on a post somewhere here.

"Since people seem to be using MPQs as the only way to send mods, I figured I'd post a way I found out of having the game load files in the war3 directory and the subdirectories in the data files before looking in the MPQs. Go into the registry editor and open the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III. Create a new DWORD value named "Allow Local Files" and set the value to 00000001. You will now be able to place modified data files in the war3 directory and the game will use them like in the beta."

Thanks. I'll test it out and see wants possible. I've never heard about this yet. Anyway the most things you got with hexediting I've already seen in RegEdit. Anyway I thought some options are not necessary, like to change the file extension of savegames, replays, logs and errors.
If a new version is available, you'll see it on my website and I'll post it here of course.

I've tested it and it works (:)). The next version of War3Config will support this feature!

The new version (1.4a) with that feature is online.
