No, I'm not here to tell a story, I'm saying that Warcraft III maps and mods (not all, but most) lack well prepared, vivid, unique stories. Sometimes it's not the stories that are bad, its the way that they are incorporated into maps. Exceptions include Cult of the Damned and Creatures of the Night, but those are movies. :D For maps such as RPGs and campaigns, would you give the majority a 10/10? I know I wouldn't. What do you think? Have you ever come up with a genuine story that you are very proud of? |

i would not rate nearly half of the rpgs out a 10/10. i have very high standards and to be a 10/10 everything must be perfect. original ideas. outstanding story. perfect terrain. skins must fit well with the game. not just be cool looking. everything has to be just right. and also yes i have written a storyline that i am proud of. me and a friend wrote a book entitled chronicle of the elements. it's not complete yet but we will finish it up. it is about 3 youths, that have no idea of the powers they posses and have no idea of each other. there is also an evil villian from years past that seek to turn them all evil or destroy them. they each get faint glipses of each other and gradually realize their powers. each has a power of an element. some are evil. some are good. thorugh the years these "elements" as they are called are immortal except to each others powers and blades. when an element dies it is reborn again and the way that the human is raised determines if the element will be good or evil. each side fights to kill the other in hopes that when the other element is revived it will choose to join thier side and when thier side has no opposition than they can appropriately take over the world with no opposing elements to stop them. or the good ones of course will save the world and free it of oppresion. i am planning on making this an open rpg when the book is actually finished. it will be quit good and will support 4 players. one of each element. the elements are breeze, frost, flare, and storm i believe. |

No, sadly im not that good at story lines and thats the reason the production of my map as slowed greatly. I have the basic idea of what I want but I need filler for it. |
