I thought this mught be the best place to ask, but if it needs to be moved, I won't be upset ;) Please don't direct this to the Skinning Forum though, because it's not about skinning models I am currently working on a WC3-inspired Application Skin (using ActiveSkin 4.3, if you know about these things) and I would like to know if anyone can tell me the name and/or somewhere to get the font they used for things like buttons and text etc. |

You can get the TTF fonts from the MPQ files. They are in war3.mpq. Open this file with an MPQ Viewer (recommended: WinMPQ or Ladiks MPQ Editor) and extract them to your Fonts directory (this directory is inside your Windows directory). |

Thanks for the info... I do know how to extract files from an MPQ and about where my Fonts directory is located, though... I'm not an uber-n00b ;) |

There is a tut on this site about MPQ extraction. And for your Fonts, the default is C:/WINDOWS/Fonts |

I've been doing this for a while; I know about MPQ extraction and I know my way around the Windows filesystem (I'm a programmer, for god's sake). I just wasn't aware that the fonts were in the MPQ ://// |
