Looks very nice, but change the bottom of this armor/robe as well, to have the blue scales like on his helmet. Looks really good :) |

4/10. That's only because I appreciate the work and originality you put in your skin. Use tools to create your skin, not filters. It would look better if you used the burn and dodge tools to create the scales rather then stained glass. Also, I condem the idea of using points in trade for skins where as they would be released to the public at generally no cost. Unfortunently though, there's nothing I can do to stop it, and I doubt anyone will listen but might as well state my point. |

Well since there is no real difference in-game why would I do that? |

Agreed... Although some filters if not over-abused can look pretty cool. (The dodge and burn system of creating scales makes it look much MUCH more realistic and better) (It does take alot longer though but the outcome is usually a drastic improvement.) (Decent skin altogether though.) Oops. Also if his face is black make his hand black to!;) |

People skin for different reasons, some people don't just skin on how a unit will look on a map, but just for the pure sake of making it look good (or can be shortened to art ^^). Trust me, if you used burn and dodge, among other techniques, you would notice a dramatic difference even in game and the portrait (as well as the shield). Also, obviously if you are a talented skinner, people will respect you (as long as intellegent posting pursues of course) and you might get recruited on a mod you're intrested in. Finally, close up of skins would matter in-game when they're used for cinematics. |

and some people skin to make a unit look like what the need in a map. Some people dont have time, to spend an extra 300% longer to burn and dodge scales, when they can do an almost as good looking thing faster. Some people have deadlines for maps even. Burn and dodge is not the answer for everything. |
