Thread Subscription

Is anyone else having an issue where they are no longer receiving e-mails when threads they are subscribed to receive new posts? I stopped receiving them about a week ago, though my Control Panel still tracks my subscriptions properly. Have there been any changes that might affect this system? Or am I alone in this? I cannot imagine why my e-mail provider (the University of Arizona) might be blocking them unless the X-Spam tag got set to "YES".

Just asking around. I'll be sure to check out this thread manually. ;)

I no longer recieve 400+ emails per day and I still can use the user cp, this is a miracle!

I once started a thread asking for this

However, I found that some people like the email notification so please turn it into an option

Yes, an option would be excellent. Though I agree, I'm starting to get used to just checking my User CP now that I understand how it works. Still, the option is still called "Activate E-mail Notification", so it's more than a bit confusing.

However, I feel a lot better just knowing there's a reasonable explanation for this and that the User CP can offer the same functionality to me.

Ill fess up. I broke it :) See smtp servers reside on port 25 and thats what the wc3c one used. But my isp decided it would be cool to block 25, which prevented me from sending @wc3campaigns.com emails. So I switched the port to 26, but didnt update the forums to use this new port. I can fix it how ever, you guys want it fixed?

Now that i think about it this killed new user verification.

/me goes to fix this.

Edit: FIXED

Sorry for the flood of emails... You should prob turn of email subscription. The system wasnt sending out mail for a few days so when I fixed it today it went nutty trying to catch up.
