befoere i do all this downloading and trying out of maps could i please get some info. some screens a little about gameplay. what type of map is it? ect ect. thanx in advance.

It's nice, but very hard to understand at first. Lag is horrible, not sure why...but it is.

Nice icons being used, many are custom. Attachments are used to make models look a bit more interesting, but no (as far as I could see) custom models or skins.

Pretty good terrain, but confusing pathing (again, at first). Items don't work, not sure if I simply didn't figure out how to activate the vaults, but they were never available for purchase.

If you die, you can choose a new character, or revive the old one for some gold. Never know how much and no text is shown about it...so keep your eyes open.

You die REALLY fast at times, and it's sometimes hard to see who is a hero and who isn't...LOTS of different models running around, wich is kinda cool.

All in all, a good map. Takes time to learn, and u'll have to live with the lag.

1°)Items don't work, not sure if I simply didn't figure out how to activate the vaults, but they were never available for purchase.

Items work but you have to look at the north, on the safe zone.
When you buy some "cards", something happens that alter the rules of the map.

At the center you have 2 WIZARDS, action on the safe zone hits or heal those 2 WIZARDS.
They begin the map with 20 life point (like in mtg)

So you can choose to equip you hero, then go and destroy the ennemy castle.
But if you team plays with a good team play, you buy cards quickly by giving all gold to one player and buying big CARDS.

2°) the lag.
I don't know why but about 40 minutes of game lag appears, if someone can help !! PLZ.

I now working on :

- 1 new card for each COLOR
- 4 new BLUE heroes
- 1 new WHITE hero
- anti-lag system.

Why LAG ?
because I recoded more than 75% of the spells. I think there are too much TRIGGERS ON at the same time.

I will try to explain here our card system.


Well let s summarize by saying you can purchase 4 types of cards :

-Artefacts : Items which boost the stats of your heros, add new skills etc... Note that even if you change your heros you will keep all your artefacts.

-Creatures : You choose a creature according to your color. once you bought it, this creature will start spawning at each waves.
Note that this move make you put a "card on table". This mean if you want to play another type of creature or an enchantment you will DESTROY the active one.

-Enchantments : Probably the most powerfull type of cards. they are generally very expensive but change the course of the game in a critical way. Play it at the right time and as the card stay on the table, you gain benefit from it. If the ennemies don't react quickly they will loose very fast.

-Instants and rituals : No less powerfull than enchantments if played at the right time. the main difference is that you can play it without destoying an active enchantment or creature.


COUNTER system :

Yes. without counterspell we couldn't really pretend to make a MTG Aeon do we ?
Here is how it works :

Each time you play an enchantment, a ritual or an instant, a 10 sec countdown appears on the screen.
If nothing is done, after 10 sec the card takes effect.
But a player can choose to COUNTER this card ( by buying the blue spell of the same name ).
Then the previous countdown stops and a new one start... well let s have an example :

Player1 plays "Wrath of god"

that shows something like :

CyberNeuNeu played a wrath of god !
Wrath of god : 10
Wrath of god : 9
Wrath of god : 8
Wrath of god : 7
Wrath of god : 6
Wrath of god : 5

Then player2 decides this spell must not pass at any cost and counter it :

Wrath of god 5
LaMahlizEr played a counterspell ! ( the previous countdown then stops )
Counterspell : 10
Counterspell : 9
Counterspell : 8
Counterspell : 7

But player3, which is in the player1 team really wants this spell and helps his teammate. we have then :

Counterspell : 7
Own3d_by_Ertai played a counterspell !
Counterspell : 10
etc...

But this time player2 and his team have no money to counter anymore...
the effects are resolved :

Counterspell :2
Counterspell :1
Counterspell has been countered !
Wrath of god : 4
Wrath of god : 3
Wrath of god : 2
Wrath of god : 1
Wrath of god takes effect ! All spawns and all creatures on the game are destroyed !

Then the player2 team, which has spent 33k on 2 shivan dragons and a shade, decides to make collective suicide... :P

This may seems a little complicated at first but I'm sure most players will get it and this will give awesome games ^^

One exemple of hero from this AeoN.

Name : CATERAN OVERLORD
Team : BLACK

Description :

STR base hero.
When phyrexian forces are threatened, they summons an Overlord from Cateran depths. Then all livings must watch out their souls for the overlord loves to devour them...
Attacks GROUND units.

Skills :

- Clutch of Undeath -
The overlord consumes a fraction of his essence to torn appart the soul of his target. At higher levels, the self -dammage grows along with the dammage inflicted.
- Level 1 : 80 damages.
- Level 2 : 160 damages.
- Level 3 : 240 damages.
- Level 4 : 320 damages.
- Level 5 : 400 damages.

- Lingering Death -
An aura of despair surrounding the heros. All fallen creatures caught in this aura got their souls devoured by the overlord who regain strenght and health.
- Level 1 : Regen : 20 hit points / Area of Effect : 100
- Level 2 : Regen : 40 hit points / Area of Effect : 200
- Level 3 : Regen : 60 hit points / Area of Effect : 300
- Level 4 : Regen : 80 hit points / Area of Effect : 400
- Level 5 : Regen : 100 hit points / Area of Effect : 500

- Soul Collector -
The overlord sacrifices a part of his vitality to send the soul of his fallen ennemies in Cateran dephts. Cateran Emperor then rewards him with additionnal mana.
- Level 1 : -80 Hit points / +50 mana points
- Level 2 : -160 Hit points / +100 mana points
- Level 3 : -240 Hit points / +150 mana points
- Level 4 : -320 Hit points / +200 mana points
- Level 5 : -400 Hit points / +250 mana points

- Stitch Together -
The overlord begins to bleed. His blood rain heals all nearbies allies but also leaves him weak and hungry...
- Level 1 : Heals 10 / sec.
- Level 2 : Heals 15 / sec.
- Level 3 : Heals 20 / sec.
- Level 4 : Heals 25 / sec.
- Level 5 : Heals 30 / sec.

- Mind Sludge -
A ray of erasure chaining into the battlefield. Allies instantly have their curses removed while ennemies lose their blessings.
- Level 1 : 4 units.
- Level 2 : 6 units.
- Level 3 : 8 units.
- Level 4 : 10 units.
- Level 5 : 15 units.

Sequence exemple : The Stone Rain (RED CARDS MtG)

Step 1 :
Buying the cards on the zone with the unit...


Step 2 :
The building have "5" armor, and then this MtG CARD will be alter this "RULES".


Step 3 :
You see the "COUNTER" Timer...


Step 4 :
EFFECT ON


Step 5 :
Armor "0" after the STONE RAIN.
