After some experimenting, it seems you can get rid of the minimap simply by going to advanced\game interface and changing the path of one of these: Icon- minimap circle of power Icon- minimap hero Icon- minimap neutral files to (some path you just made up that doesnt exist).blp example: path= jieqwrbhgiu\jbhqgiuhqi.blp wierd... yep. But it seems to work. You can also import an image to show as background and terrain in the minimap (path= war3mapmap), but I could not find a way to get rid of the icons showing player owned unit's on map. |

to get rid of the little green circles and the red circles and such(which is what i think you want)go to game interface and find creep location small and big. i think that is thier name. i know they start wioth creep so they will be in the c's. |

"guess I'll give you some points for that" :D Thanx Supra God CrK: Sorry, i know how to get rid of creep camps, neutral buildings,heros and whatnot, but what I really want to get rid of is all normal units (including your own). There is a model I think for it that I tried to change, but didn't seem to have any effect. |

Tried a custom map image, no luck... Looks like it just wipes out the map. Still useful though. |

Sorry for late reply. When you change the path of one of the values I mentioned, it corrupts the minimap so that it is pure black (no map boundary or anything). When you import an image to "war3mapmap", it shows the image instead of the terrain, but units and map boundary are shown over the top. If player owned units could be gotten rid of, it would look good. |

You can just change the path to a space. But although you won't be able to see the units on the map, you won't be able to see the map either. |

This is for getting rid of the whole minimap. To get rid of just creep camps: For some reason it does not work changing the path in Advanced\game interface. So to get rid of them you must import any file (can be a blank text file etc) and set the path as "UI\Minimap\MinimapIconCreepLoc.blp" (for small and medium camps) and "UI\Minimap\MinimapIconCreepLoc2.blp" (for large camps). |

Nice tip, I have look at that atleast 100 times just never thought of the idea to change it. If would be cool if you can change the minimap to something lik rada, so it still shows the units, just no terrain and stuff. You know the radar that armies always have on movies. Edited because: No the one with a line going around a cirvle, I know add a circle in there, but I think they is no way to add animation to the Minima[p.. |

that's easy - just import an all black .tga (256x256, 24bit) and set it as "War3Mapmap.tga" |
