I'd really like to be helpful, but my hands are seized with fits of rage over your horrid spelling, urielnam. C'mon, is it that hard to remember that "trigger" has 2 g's? Sound it out - Trig Ger. Two distinct G sounds. And what's with the spelling of "know" as "now"? At least "no" is a homonym of "know." I know, I know, too lazy to hit the k. Well, try typing a little slower. |

LOL Biflspud, nice post subject... But really, try typing better so maybe we can... ...actually understand? |

you have to use a trigger. it's under the category hero. learn hero skill for unit. |

don't sweat it man. your english didn't offend anyone. i personally think it was pretty rude of certain people to make fun of other's english because more than likely the person that has a lot of misspelling did not intend it they are probably just learning english. english is not as easy as everyone makes it out to be. |

That depends. Are you trying to make the hero put a point into a hero ability that he already has? Or are you trying to outright add an ability to the unit? Because you can do both. |

But it is the language we communicate in on this forum, and more the point, because Americans generally can't be bothered to learn another language (and yes, I am guilty of this as well), you'll need it to communicate with us. Supra, sugar coating it with "Oh, that's ok, you don't need to speak well" is doing a disservice to Urielnam -- he needs to know that he sounds like a child, and will not be taken seriously until he improves. Urielnam, your question's easy enough to answer. Make a Unit action: Give Ability to Unit. Pick the action you want, and bingo, your hero now has a new ability. |

There's a trigger in the FT editor, add ability to hero or something liek that under the Hero category. The Learn hero skill makes the hero learn a new skill or upgrade one up one level. |

so you think I dont speak english well and say that i am like a child these kind of behavior i would expected from isreali people not from US residents..... so here is an idea - why dont you learn hebrew and we'll talk in hebrew insted of me learning english so what do you think about that "paladin" oh and one more thing... you have a very weird name Biflspud |

Alright, as said before by biflspud, Unit action: Give Ability to Unit is the way to go. However, if it is a hero ability, it will have to be learned as well.. I think. Unit abilities just appear normally I believe. About this whole language deal... 1: Spelling correctly is good (makes things easier to understand, thereby allowing for better answers on part of readers) and English is the spoken language on the forums.. 2: Spelling badly isn't a traumatizing thing to most people and should not be nagged upon (unless the person makes it blatantly clear that he/she refuses to even try) 3: 'Paladin' is his subtitle thing. I don't think he ever specifically chose that particular one, rather it was auto-set due to postcount. 4: Lets not get into petty arguments, mmk? P.S. You spelled 'Weird' correctly, which is more than can be said for 80%+ of the people that I communicate with. |
