there are quite a few people making lotr mods. afterall, the movie was excellent and being fantasy, warcraft 3 makes it relatively easy to make a very interactive world to play in. i know that there are "rpg lotr" mods all over bnet at the moment, all of which are single map games. this mod will bring you a number of maps, a new one for each location, and will be completely customized to the world of lotr, and the battle for middle earth.

What I want to know is, what makes it "Official"?
