Guest | Is there any way or method to add a damage base to a unit? I want to make an "upgrade button" that you can buy multiple times to constantly add to a units base damage. I haven't found a way to do this yet and I was hoping maybe I'm just missing something that is obvious :( Thanks |

Guest | You're probably better off going with the standard upgrades. You can assign which units get these upgrades. The reason base damage is not increased by itself by any upgrade is because there is always the possibility, somehow, base damage could be greater then max damage. If this happens, I'm sure the game would probably crash or do something funky. You can assign which units are affected by which upgrades in the unit editor. Besides the standard race upgrades (all of which can apply I believe), there is also the Archer damage upgrade, the Ghoul attack speed upgrade, and the Bezerker Strength for Grunts. --general "nihilist" mx |

Guest | ya, however the units are towers and the damage would have to be ugpraded an extreme amount (like by 100 or even more) per upgrade. i dont see why the damage base would exceed the damage maximum because the damage base affects both the damage minimum and the damage maximum (at least theoretically anyways) hm, perhaps if i edited the upgrades? is there any way i could do this? |

Guest | Hmm, here's an idea. You could make them "Hero Towers" (Heros with the model of a Tower) and give them Claws of Attack that give +100 damage via some sort of trigger. That would only add onto maximum (not base) damage, but I don't know how else you'd be able to add so much damage other then switching the tower for one that does more damage (with another set of triggers). --general "nihilist" mx |

Guest | heres another crazy idea: make it so the tower can have item slots then make a bunch of items with the +12 to attack bonus ability on them. this is hypothetical of course... |

Guest | Heh, you posted that one second after I posted mine. Guess great minds think alike :) --general "nihilist" mx |

Guest | ohh. good idea. thank you ill see if that works. p.s. are abilities on items stackable (so like, could i add say 10 +12 attack damage on to one item?) |

Guest | Yes, item abilities that increase a stat are stackable...to a point. You can only get up to +45 damage from just one item. However, since a Hero has 7 slots, you can get up to +315 damage from 7 of these items. --general "nihilist" mx |

Guest | Make sure the Movement Type is set to NONE. Otherwise, it may try to animate the Tower. --general "nihilist" mx |

Guest | i am not sure about that but i have a idea if you could change the tower to a hero , do this when you click that upgrade button , create a tome of agility for the tower and force it to use set the tower primary to AGI and each time the tome of AGI act , it add a agility which increase the base damage by 1 is this wat you want ?? if not i have no idea |
