Nahaz Rpg Story

For those of you who noted my Nahaz RPG project here. I guess I will put up some story, but it isn't too impressive right now. Not because its a sucky story, but because its one of those stories that has little background and is developed primarily throughout the game. I'll put down some stuff, but I won't put down some of the best stuff because it would ruin the story. :ggani:

Keep in mind, this is the first script and will undoubtedly change.

BACKGROUND
On the vast planet of Ebinor, years after an invasion of demon-driven creatures attacked the populace for nothing more than what seemed to be sport, was the entire myth born. The sorcerers, mainly a group of intellectuals who oversaw the planet and prevented demons from invading by devising spells that capture energy and release it in a focused and forceful way. The process is known as magic. However, these brilliant sorcerers became all but extinct. The son of the legendary Belgariad, a very wise and powerful sorcerer, is all that remains of his kin after only two years of invasion. This man, named Bengariad, now seeks vengence upon the demons for his now-slain father and his beautiful wife Elei. Unlike his comrades, Bengariad is driven by vengence rather than panacea. Now, only three years have passed. The demons, created by a mysterious demonlord named Chaldain, now search for two hidden cities; Shumstale and Movidim, which were hidden by Bengariad using one of Belgariad's most ingenius spells (the works of magic). Nahaz, who personally oversees the invasion and likely is the dictator. Now, Nahaz searches for Bengariad, Bengariad searches for Nahaz, and an encounter can end in nothing but disaster...

INTRODUCTION OF GAME
The game begins with an introduction cutscene, set on a small plateau in the Great Resting Sea near the Gulf of Rean before the demonic invasion. Six dark figures, one appearing to be an old sorcerer, are facing each other, and a rift of anger eminates from the old sorcerer, however the other figures seem to be sorrowful and consoling. Then, instantly, the sorcerer attacks the dark figures with a powerful spell. As if driven by instinct, one of the creatures raises his weapon and strikes a mortal blow upon the sorcerer. The camera fades out slowly as the creature that killed the old man lets out a cry of regret.

Sixty years later, the camera fades in to a small dark pit surrounded by underbrush on the outskirts of the capital city of Shumstale, after the destruction of the other cities across the planet after the demon invasion. A dark haired man with long hair in his late thirties paces the area alone. Seconds later, another man approaches. He steps into the underbrush and faces the man.

"Ho Zorin." he greets.
"Ho Bengariad!" the dark haired man says.
"You've managed to get me away from my task, old friend. I want this to be quick and brief, for I have a job to do." says Bengariad.
"Of course Bengariad," Zorin says, annoyed. "You can't let poor circumstances weaken your morale. Try to have some spirit for a change. We used to console each other, you know."
"Not during such times, Zorin. What is it?" Bengariad replies impatiently.
Zorin takes a deep breath. "I think it is time to call them once more."
"Call who?" Bengariad asks. He knows the answer, but wises it were not so.
"The mercenaries, Bengariad. If you haven't noticed, things are getting heavier. The people are rioting, the demons are getting closer and closer to find the passage on Rean that leads here, and we are running out of food. The wells run dry, demons ravage the countryside, and things will soon be unbearable. Panacea is more impossible than it ever was, and without more help everything will be lost."
"I am aware of that, Zorin." Bengariad says angirly. "You are accusing me of not being powerful enough or devoted enough to put an end to this myself. They could not do any better. They would only get in the way!"
"You're being unrealistic, Bengariad." Zorin says critically. "With your absence you don't seem to realize that the rest of the world is also suffering, and time is crucial. The mercenaries were here to quell the rebellion long ago, and without them, we wouldn't be here now, and this country would not be a democracy, instead it would be run by tyrants!"
"This has nothing to do with demons, nor will I change my mind, Zorin." Bengariad says stubbornly. "All of this peril is the originations of Nahaz. Killing him is the easiest way to end this."
"But not the fastest, obviously." Zorin says.
"I'm not going to listen to any more of this." Bengariad says. "I'm only wasting my time."
He turns to leave. Zorrin looks at him helplessly, abandoning all hope of solace. He takes a deep breath and says:
"Bengariad, what would your father do? Would he just ignore the suffering of the other people or just selfishly give up his powers and succumb to revenge?"
Bengariad turns slowly around.
"How would you know what my father would say?" He asks, angrily. "You do not even know him!"
"Neither do you." Zorin said. There is a long pause. "I have no idea what he would do. Since we're both uneasy on this matter, why don't you ask him yourself?"
"Ask him!?" Bengariad says, half shocked, half furious. "What do you mean, 'ask him?'"
"He is the only person you would listen to now. I don't care what he tells you to do. All I'm asking is that you go ask him." Zorin looks at him for a short time, then turns around and walks back toward the city.
Bengariad, uneasy now, stands silently for a while, then he turns around and heads for the catacombs, leagues away.

The final intro will be more than this, but I don't have time to type it all right now. I'd appreciate any suggestions and comments. :ggani:
