Blizzard releases Art Tools in next patch!

This sounds very promising. I don't know if Art Tools means a model editor (unlikely) or a fully working exporter, but this feels really good :ggani:^.

Gerundok	it could possibly be both, the possibilties could be endless, after all, blizzard has the engine, so they could make it more easy to customize, i hope it can do all of our wildest dreams :P that would be cool

Magos	They said in a couple of weeks. The patch testing was in "the final stages".

Dark Sage	I don't think they mean model editors by art tools (they use 3dsm, says so on employment page), they wouldn't have the rights to distribute the model editor. I'm pretty sure it means just file converters.

Markus3832	I dont think they will have an EDITOR but i hope they have an EXPORTER... And a CONVERTER... And possibly some TUTORIALS to go with it. Now i am so tired so i am going to BED :D Lemme see, what words did i point out, Editor Exporter Converter Tutorials Bed Why did i do this? I don't know, completely unnecessary.

R2D2	OMG, they're gonna help out us modders, thats friggin awesome. It's right up there with the Nvidia UT2K3 Mod competition. I wonder if they're L33t enough to make a bug free exporter ^^.

...But, what if its something really simple...like a buff art editor or something? Or jsut some little program with tons of preset "units" that let you jsut make your own art? Like putting together pieces of this and that, and maybe a customization thing that lets you "tweak" them, you knwo waht i mean?

Just a guess *wink* you guys might be right, or it could be another poof of blizzards sense of humor and be something totaly retarded and un neccesary.

ex: Secret Cow Leve....
