well how can i do to get gold each time i kill a unit? (without using triggers) like the creeps.. cuz the gold triggers generates some lag in my map because too many units die all the time...

Well, you can set their 'Stats - Bounty' in unit editor. If you want it to be a fixed value, set the base to what you want and then the number of dice and sides to "1".

i dont speak english very good and my editor is in english. and i said "Stupid question" and i did it with triggers but it lags too much. now i have to edit all units :(

and by the way. im not a newbie..

are u sure about that. i set bounty to 20 , dice and sides to 1 and the unit dont give me the gold when he dies

You need to turn the player flag on. In the trigger editor, under actions, there is an option, Turn Player Flag On. Turn on all the players flags, and that should solve your problem.

any 1 have any idea to reduce the lag of the game??? i dont know why but in my map the stuffs starts to lag in the battles... its like something is slowing down my map (LAG = SLOW ANIMATIONS/Jumping MOVEMENT AND BAD PERFORMANCE)

edited: and it only happens in my map :#

Mabey, instead of useing bounty how about doing somthing like seting the units point value to how much you want them to give when killed and just have it add that amount to a varible every time a unit dies and when the varible hits an amount it give that amount to the player making it so that you don't get lag from all the dice rolls at once. If your making a td or td like game how about giving the gold from the round at the end of the round but giving them a little more time to build to balance it out. Also give them the normal end round gold just before the round starts so they have some gold to spend during the level if they need to.

well if the periodic triggers cause the lag... how do i change them to reduce the lag and stay with the same efect of the trigger?? because the units will be spawn in my map every 30 secs... any ideas???

He wants to reduce lag and the way I perposed would reduce the lag but it depened on the type of map. Its not a periodic event so it would not lag like the that. Also lag can be caused by lots of units with a very fast attack and have a large animation.

Good point... I didnt see the Reduce lag part, my bad
