Since Krakou requested I show the skin for the model edit he so kindly did for me, I've decided to show off my assassin skin. She's roughly based off of the Assassin class from Diablo 2. I hope she bears a fairly strong resemblance, because that's what I intend to use her for. I know Clotaire already has a model and skin, but I'd started mine a while before I found his and really wanted to complete it. This is my 2nd complete reskin. (I have also done a skin for Grom Hellscream, turning him into a Barbarian.) Note that the model is different from that of the Sentinel (aka watcher) in that it has no crotch flap thing, the gloves are slightly different, the boots have been pushed back to form legs (hence some of the slightly weird deformation in the skin's leg area), the hair has been trimmed back quite a bit, and there is no weapon. I skinned the weapon out, so I'm not sure if it's in the actual model or not. Anyway, huge thanks to Krakou for the modified model! Constructive criticism and general comments greatly appreciated. |

Guest | I really like how you made it so the face have a fringe. The style isnt 100% warcraft 3 though, it reminds me of anime but its still well done. How I think it could be improved. The black armor I say, could use a tad of brownish blue in certain areas, and a few areas of white. The lighter shoulder armor could use more contrast and more grey in the center. The boots could use some lines, or some extra detailing. |

In my defense, I started working on this (and my map) a good time before TFT was released. The skin's just been sitting on my hard drive collecting virtual dust. If I'd completed the skin around when I started, it'd been one of the first, if not the first, I think. Anyway... yeah. If I ever complete my map, there may be something worth playing on B.net. Getting a little large, though... -_- EDIT: The black isn't armor, it's.. um.. like a leotard, I guess. Skintight fabric. Refer to D2 Assassin images. |

Hi, im another one of those people who made an assassin. In my defence the model is so close to it that it was asking for it. Although if you did leave the the knee things on there it would of saved me a couple of hours on it, but it was worth it anyway. I think all yours really needs is some cleaning up. BTW I like the shoulder pads. |

its realy good, the bangs look a little odd and the armor could use a little touch up, i like the muscle effect on her lower torso, model: no offense but it looks liek she has FAT thighs and a small ***... lol :D even though the remarks above its still 10/10 :D |

Awesome skin, 7/10. Look at a pic of the assasin in the Character Selection skin of D2, try to make her pants seem closer to the original, and then I think it will be perfect. |

look for that recent other assasin skin, and add on the claws from the link they give |

i gotta say, thats pretty darn good. I would prefer if she had more clothes on, i mean i would love to see a Assassin wear nothing but a bikini and armor, but would a real one would? just my opinion, good job anyways. |

Pants? I see no pants... (by the way, refer to this reference image: http://www.blizzard.com/images/diabl...r-assassin.gif) I shaded the back nicely on the actual skin, but because of the absolutely bizarre way it wraps back there, you can't see the detail I've put in. That's probably why the cape thing was added, so they wouldn'th ave to readjust the wrapping back there. (Or maybe they wrapped it that way because there already was a cape thing back there. iunno, ask Blizz) As for the person who said I should put in the claws.... *slaps forehead in frustration with people* that has nothing to do with skinning. I have the model, but I wasn't willing to bother creating a dummy item to show claws on her for the screenshot, since it was kind of a quick and dirty sort of deal and I just wanted to finally get some screenshots up on this skin that's been taunting me for ages. The hair fringe is an interesting idea I had when I found that it looked weird just ahving her hair pull back from her head. it's actually made from the mask part of the skin, with sections alphaed out to create the "bangs". After a bit of fiddling with it, it turned out better than I expected so I decided to go with it. As for her thighs to rear proportions, I could probably adjust that to some degree, but it doesn't seem worth it, especially when you consider that WC3's proportions are already bizarre and cartoonish, when you get right down to it, and the detail will be lost on the normal overhead view of the unit. All in all, I'd have to say I'm fairly happy with my skin as it stands, though I forgot to put a buckle on the boots like I intended to. Come to think of it, I probably should've made them come up a lot higher, since they look kind of weird as it is. Bah. Stupid boots. And don't even get me started on the bizarre texture assignment on the gloves... ugh. This, by the way, is my second completed full reskin. (And third skin overall). My first skin ever can be seen if the forum still has my necromancer thread. Anyway, thanks for the positive comments, everyone. |

Nice skin, I love what you did with my modded model. And concerning the weapon, I removed it from the model. |
