Good evening, morning, or afternoon! Name's Guardian, and I'm in the ending stages of a map that I've been working on for a good 2 months, entitled "New Year's Evil." Currently I have most of the characters done and the triggering should not take long at all. After looking at the quality of maps such at FMVH, I noticed that my mapping skills are not what one would say, exquisite. I'm looking for someone who would be kind enough to take on this little task, I have a rough sketch of what the map should look like and you can go ballistic with it after getting the main points in the map. The current staff of this project is entirely myself (Tried to get support from members on the forums but no one decided to help out.). What I am looking for also is a skilled Cinematics member. I have not spent much time using camera angles so I am lacking heavily in this department. Beta testing will most likely begin within the next month provided I can find a terrianer for this project. For those of you who read this and took it under consideration, thank you. For those of you who are waiting for the release, I hope you are not disappointed! Thanks to everyone who reads this. Guardian. |

First of All: I have no idea wht kind of map it is.. but never underestimate Triggers :). Second of all... I have a very big 'if I wash your back..." policy (Since I am working on my OWN maps too). However, that aside, I would be willing to help you, if you would in turn give me some help with my own mappings. Honestly, I have the unnatural fear of helping someone a good deal, only to find their map isn't all that well done, and than never hear from them again. A bad thing to be sure. |

Haha...yeah I know what you mean with the "washing of backs" thing...I'd be happy to help out with anything you need (mind you I suck at cinematics...) Ok, the map is kinda a huge arenaish thing (its not just a big circle where random creeps show up...) with various terrain types and different 'cities' within the map. There is a storyline which leads the game to its length...which I'm trying to get as 5 game days and each day is like 10-15 minutes long. BUT just e-mail me with your email (unless I check it out and yours is on there...I can't remember wether or not they list e-mails) and I'll give you the lowdown and a test map of what I already have. Tell your friends! Ok thanks man, I am quite sure you will not be disappointed in this map. |
