MY TD map....

Ok I have attached my TD map, if you launch it through WCIII RoC youll soon see the problems.

My problems include:

Wave System
Pop up Menu problems

If you think you know where/what ive done wrong plz post here or edit my map and re-attach it plz thanks,

Taking a look at the map... already noticed that "Monster_type" variable is not an array... needs to be...

Will post the fix map when I can fix it, looks like no problem to do.

If no one posts it fixed by the time I fix it (don't have time right now, will fix it later tonight if no one else fixes it for you.)

I am pretty good with "Waves" and pathing monsters. Will get back to you soon.



Another thing: If you want me to I can make your entire Pathing and Wave triggers. If not, then the only problem I see with what you got done is that the variable wasn't an array, you have to use a Unit-Type Array variable.

PM me with what you want if you decide you want me to do the pathing for you.



One more thing: I noticed your map is W3M (RoC) instead of W3X (TFT), do you have TFT? If not then I could still make your pathing, but It would be easier if you had TFT (there are some TFT triggers that would come in handy in making waves...)

Sorry I forgot to mention i only have RoC. If you could it would be a great help, but if you dont have the time to set it all up dont worry im sure i could manage :)

I will see what I can do in the marrow (its 2am right now where I am at... think its getting close to bedtime...)

PM me to tell me:
1. Exactly what paths you want the pathing monsters to move down.
2. Exactly where you want them to spawn.
3. How many you want to spawn.
4. Also what player(s) is(are) the "Pathing" monsters.

I could probably figure out numbers 2 and 4 by looking at your map, and maybe even number 1, but I figured it would be best if you could tell me so as to make sure I get it how you want it. :ggani:

Ive just found a simple loop tutorial on this site (in the new link at the top of the page) so im going to give that a shot. If i cant get it to work i should have posted all the information you require before you get up :ggani:

Im still having problems, ill attach the new map.

If you open it you will be able to see the way the monsters have to move, who controls them, where they have to spawn, and the numbers.

Ok, I downloaded and made the pathing how (I think) you intended.

Wow that took more triggers then I expected (TFT wouldn't have taken half that much..) but its complete.

Also, I changed/fixed some of your already existing triggers, on said triggers I added "AllPainful edit" and a description of what I did to the comments section of the triggers.

If there is anything wrong (like if I messed up the pathing) just let me know and I will gladly fix it.

Yeah, I got the pathing a little off then, (the pathing I used is attached), but you should be able to make that change. If you need any further assistance let me know though.

I go by the name "AllPainful" everywhere, so that would be fine.

I think i like your pathing better, ill just have to add a few extra regions so that they always stick to the exact path (red cuts in too early ect). But thats not your fault thats becaus eof the way my maps built.
