Um, is this a modelling or skinning question? Are you using Flatten Image in Photoshop? What do you mean, flatten a side? |

I assume you are talking about lowering it down on screen so it looks submerged. Is it a unit? You cannot use the z-changer tricks on units - their z is based on flying height and terrain. Doodads can be raised and lowered, however. This is assuming you're doing what I think you're doing, though. |

Oh, I just fixed it. It was in WorldEdit with cliffs. Now, the waterline won't go past the area where that cliff was! I lowered it and it still doesn't do anything! Help me! -KillR |

Heres the new problem. I made an island by raising the terrain under water. I didn't use cliffs untill I was making a building. Now, when I try to get rid of the cliff because it obviously won't work, I can't get it to work. I use Deep Water, and I makes way too many cliffs everywhere. This is how far I was able to get, but I can't delete any more. Please help me. -KillR |

Um... I don't think you can have cliffs that go underwater... What you could do however, is make an all shallow water map, then use the lower cliff tool to make it look like there are cliffs underwater. I don't know if I'm mistaking your question entirely or what, but that should work. EDIT Oh ok... I get your question. Try using the same level tool instead of deep water. Maybe that'll help. |

There is a real simple way to just erase the cliffs alltogether. Just go to the terrain editor. Hit the space bar so it says selection at the bottom. then drag a box around some terrain that looks like you want yours to look after the delete. then hit control-c to copy it. Hit control-v and move the box That appears over the messed up part. If you put it in the wrong spot just hit control-z and try it again |

Not problem. Spreading the knowledge creates many more high quality maps for all of us. |
