This is really weird... I've got a custom ability based off Death Coil... it does Nothing: zero damage etc... and all the Art: fields are empty. It worked several times - the unit that has the ability cast it, with no effect. Perfect. But then, the death coil effect started appearing every time it's cast! Not the missile, but the black swirly cloud target effect. What could make something like that happen? |

When removeing all the animations in the we object editor it doesn't always take them all away nor does it show all the models used. To change that you need to possibly edit the undeadabilityfunc.txt and remove the model there and upload it into map and give it path unit/undeadabilityfunc.txt. I think this sould do it but not sure. Taking what a learned from ragingdemon and telling it to you it worked for me changing the model for frost armor. I hope it helps you. |
