just an idea i had. team 1 are the pirates, team 2 are the navy. team 2 start off on land, in a series of forts. team 1 start off on a few islands. there are islands scattered around, with creeps etc. on them. the pirates' only limit on ships (well i might cap it, but at a very high limit)is build time but have a small food limit (30-40) for units. the navy have a small food limit for ships, but units are only limited by build time. however, the navy have stronger ships and the pirates have stronger units. each team has custom heros. the navy have to defend for a certain time, the pirates have to attack. gold is used for unit upgrades and items. there is also the treasure. the treasure spawns on a random (uninhabited or full of creeps) island each game and does different things. if the navy take it, the large amount of gold is split between all of them. if the pirates get it, whichever one of them took it did gets all the gold for themselves :ggani: . It has custom heroes and custom spells (quite a few new skins). if i've missed anything ill add it. any suggestions (im thinking about how to make the unit/ship unlimited my food or money work, based on lumber given every however many seconds or capped at 100 or whaever through triggers or andother idea) and also if the idea is any good or other suggestions, questions or anything else. also, i was thinking about having a pirate hero based on dragonhawk rider or gryphon rider changed to giant parrot rider. i guess it depends whether this is going to take a 'humorous' direction or not. is it too stupid or an ok idea? EDIT: oh yeah forgot to mention normally pirates get gold by all their units having the pillage ability, the navy get gold from merchant ships spawning at the top of the map and having to get to their bases, past the pirates) |

in tft there are sea units! thats two more reasons to but it 1) to use water units 2) to make sure you dont ask stupid questions :ggani: anyway, the navy's ships will be the pre-made tft ships mainly, the pirate ones will be reskinned. also, since some heroes will be based off units, should i add hero glow to those that dont or remove it from those that do. more models will have to be edited to remove, but removing is about 10 times easier... |

well, fine but try not to make it too similar to mine, maybe have yours more head to head rather than attacking and defending? also the music will be about 3mb, but thats 2 songs. the sailor's hornpipe and what shall we do with the drunken sailor (instrumental version). the 2 most pirate-ish songs there are :ggani: . people can always dl it off a website or dl-only servers. |

To complete the game and win you will have to make the three ships columbus used to get to the new world (America) and set sail. This is a good place to look for adding hero glow without model editing. That will save you a bunch of file size. |

ok thx... hmm i guess i could do it with triggers though... its going to be only for a few units and no chance of team change... i dunno. depends how many heroes need it. |

If you were wondering what i was going to do take a look at the attached map, I cant belive it its sort of addictive since their aint any onther maps that have ships as movable units (RoC i mean) Tell me what you think, IDISacredIDI |
