Well, I asked this before and never got an answer, so here it is agian... How do I edit the ability text and the location of the ability buttons (for heroes mainly; does it work the same for all?) I'm looking for something more indepth than just "use mpq2k and extract XXX file" 'cause I got no idea how to use mpq2k...I tried to play around with it and it made no sense at all... |

How do I get the mpq file from the w3m...? |

Guest | Use one of the various MPQ extractors. There's a tutorial on this site about W3M files. |

Or, a better question, How do I get, say, unitability.txt from the w3m...I don't see it anywhere, I looked at the tutorial and it didn't really have any info on how to get the text files, unitability.txt or .slk or are they stored somewhere else? |

Guest | All of these files are stored in the "war3.mpq". This is the main datafile for Warcraft 3. MPQ2K is a program that can extract files from MPQ-compressed data. |
