first, do you know how to create caches ? if u do, then all u have to do is save Unit as UnitsName in (last created game cache) where the Unit is the unit you want saved, and UnitsName is the string under which u want it saved...example: Save FootmanHero as My Hero Footman....but it cannot have spaces between "words" :) this one's better...Save Dark Ranger as SylvanasWindrunner in last created game cache...i hope it helps :) |

With the exact opposite procedure... you load the things you saved. The file you selected to make a cache will stay there between maps, so just make a cache out of it again and restore the things you saved. But don't just listen to me, for step-by-step instructions, check out the answers the dozens of other people who already asked this question got. Just go to the bottom of any page and click Search to search for your topic, in this case I recommend something like "cache save hero". Offhand, the explanation in this one seems good. I think we used to have a tutorial about this, but somehow it's vanished from the tutorials section. Still, for future reference, it's always good to check for a tutorial first if you didn't, just as it's always good to search for answers to the question in the past. WC3 Campaigns keeps a massive log of old posts, so use this buffet of new knowledge to your advantage. Good luck! |
