We really do need a place where all these finished campaigns are listed. The ones I know of are Rise Of Krill Hosted here on wc3 campaigns, downloads section in campaigns "First" Campaign ever Not great, but it occupied me for a while. Wanderers Of Sorceria Hosted at www.campaigncreations.org (may be .net... dunno its in my favourites) CANNOT recommend it highly enough. Exceptional. If you can't stand Japenese anime you may wanna grit your teeth and bear it because it is an honest 12+ hours of fun (if you do absolutely everything the campaign offers) Rise Of Ner'zhul Hosted at by The Patton Crew at www.warii.net "I THINK" Not great... it gets better as it rolls on so once you've finished the first two hero crawls (which aren't great) you may enjoy it Fall Of The Lion Diwnloadable HERE in the downloads section - check the maps section I don't understand why there are 3 campaigns in our maps section! I haven't finished this one yet, but its got a good amount of levels, though they seem quite short. This campaign has some touches of genius (the loading screens were grea, the first level had a nice idea, nostalgia rulez!) but is let down somewhat by some basic errors that could be so easily fixed (I.e. pathing problems - thats the big one). Nightstalkers (May have the name wrong) Downloadable HERE in the dls section - check the maps are This little gem of a campgin deserves more press than it gets. Very simply put together, it doesn't feature 100% original skins or models and it doesn't feature revolutionary gameplay but it does what it can without it very well! It has some well used models in the freebies section of campaign creations that I fell people should be encouraged to use - it certainly pays off here! It seems heavily influenced by RazorclawX's RPG levels in WoS with several secrets, a Anime stye final ultimate, and the whole shadow sprite tree morping thing (which is the key to completing the game) is great. Try it out! DarkOne's Campaign Downloadable HERE in the dls section - check the maps area There may be something there to work on but I was't gripped by the first level. I don't think its finished either. Nature's Call: The Spider Queen Hosted here - check campaign section in dls Won last years campaign of the year. It was exceptional, particularly the voice acting. Saga Of Azeroth Downloadable here in campaign section - hosted at SA Mods I liked it... a friend didn't. I recommend it though it might not be your cup of tea. Maybe somebody should pm somebody important so we could get a permanent list with dl locations somewhere here on site, so all these little campaigns like somebody posted up on this thread can be recognised? |
