This is a continuation of my nine other screenshots I posted here. Over the weekend, I spent most of my free time working on the map some more. These are screenies I did this weekend. I spent most of my time on the items... swords actually. Well I'll talk about that in the last post. Here we are: #10 |

Thats it for the screenies for now. I spent most of my time this weekend working on the items. This map is going to have a D2 like item system. I plan to make 110 custom items. I've gotten thru 24 right now, and they are all swords. Each sword has its own model, which is connected to a unit's hand as it is placed on him. I plan to do 50 swords for melee, 10 bows for archers, 10 staffs for spellcasters, 10 shields for armor, 10 helmets for more armor, 10 rings, and 10 types of armor. Also, to get a better grip on people's attention, I'm putting up a web site on Nov.4 with all kinds of info, such as story, list of features, heroes, spells, etc. You can get a link to it in my avatar on Nov. 9. :ggani: Feedback is appreciated. 8)) |

1. What kind of tree is that in screen #10? (The one next to the giant trunk) 2. How did you get that african-plain looking tree in screen #14? eXn extracted the model from the glue screen, but how did you acquire them? Did he send them to you? Did you extract them from another campaign? And if so, which one? 3. How did you make those screens so that the interface isn't showing too? |

1. The tree next to it is the same one in numver 14 that has a curvy trunk. 2. I just got them all from COTN and TTOA. For some reason, I can open them and other ppl cant. I hope I don't get in trouble, but I'll post them below. 3. I took the screenshots in the editor using the view feature and then opened it in paint and simply cut out the view screen. Really easy. |

Nice screens, just wonder how they look in game... I'm doing the same thing in my AoS with the weapons. Do you have a bow model ? I can't seem to find any, anywhere.... Your minimap needs work, text is way too blurry... Also, the site...well, how should I put it.. It's ugly? :) hehe Know it says under construction, but try doing at least a menu... |
