More than 5 hero skills

Is there any way to make more than 5 skills on a hero, and 1 regular skill for a total of six. Someone was telling me of a way to maybe get 7, if you could remove the patrol button. Is any of it possible?

No, I don't think so... the max you can have is 5, if you want more, you'll have to use normal abilities.

technically if you removed the patrol button you can FIT 7 abilities... i think.... but more than 5 hero abils dont wokr, but you can trigger the hro so that when he levels up id removes a unit abil and replaces it with another more powerful one of the same abils

ok so how do you remove the patrol button?

if you can only have 5 hero skills, then an idea i just thought of would be like when your hero got to level 10 or something, depending on his either class or race, he could pick a skill from a dialog menu, and then using triggers the skill would be added to him. If i have 7 slots i could essentially do this 2 times, maybe once at level 8 and once at 16 or something :D

why would following someone mess anything up with the patrol button? following isn't patroling... besides, if you just delete the button, the function still exists I think you could still press p and patrol... however I don't know how to delete the button.

you could go into game interface and find the patrol icon and set it to none maybe?

actually, if you roght click on one of your own unit with another or an allyed unit, the patrol button lights up

hey hey hey this isnt an arguement of what the patrol button does. Patrol is pretty straight forward. We dont need to analyze it. What we DO need to do is tell evilwolf how to get rid of that nasty little button :ggani:

You're right. I'll consider the needs of the community and report you to a mod for being a troll. Thanks for the kind suggestion.

Well go right ahead and report, maybe the mods will see how selfish you were and deal with you accordingly. Now stop posting on my thread before a real problem arises and the mod has a real reason to come in here and close the thread.

Evilwolf you're stepping very close to the line, here. I've had numerous reports of your abusive posts and now I get to see one in person. I suggest you cool it before you end up in trouble.

And Biflspud, if you don't have anything worthwhile to contribute to the conversation, then don't contribute to the conversation please.

I also suggest you take advantage of our search function at the bottom of the forum, as you would've found that your question has already been answered here.

Well its people like that posting unwanted junk on threads. So i tell them to shut up and they go and cry to the moderator then i get in trouble. I got an idea..

There i changed my sig. If theres a problem tell me now before i get banned. Also EVERY thread i start im going to post a disclaimer, telling everyone to take their snotty remarks elsewhere. ANDDDDDD if that disclaimer IS on the thread IN THE BEGINNING, AND someone DOES post something snotty, I just might be obligated to jump on the REPORT TO A MOD bandwagon like everyone else, since all the mods get angry when i give people a peice of my mind

Point taken; I had just about had my fill of Evilwolf last night, and seeing yet one more thread full of his unusual... "charm" was more than I was up for.

Evilwolf, if I may make a polite comment that might be useful in this situation, you attract more flies with honey than vinegar. If you really want people to help you, consider asking nice.
