Whenever I try and run WinMPQ it tells me: Can't load (or register) custom control: 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' I realize this is probably a Microsoft Common Control file, as the name suggests. I have downloaded and installed both the Visual Basic 4 Runtime Libraries and the Runtime Pack 3. I also installed MPQControl. I've tried downloading and installing these files off of the website, and using Zepir's WinMPQ Full-Install pack. Has anybody else had this error or, more importantly, know how to fix it? |

Thanks a lot! I found out that if you don't have the file you need to download it and put it in your Windows/System directory. If anybody else has this problem you can download the file from here: http://www.windows-hq.com/Download/Program/MSCOMCTL.zip |

Mscomctl.ocx actually is in what is called "Runtime Pack 3" on my web page. It is the only component of it. :D I just didn't properly configure the file setup.lst to register the file after copying it to the system folder. :D Sorry about that. :) It's fixed now. |
