Yes yes I know you can edit buffs and aura info in the status bar of unit using mpq .txt editing I've done it before, before 1.10 patch that is. But I have two problems... - I'm worried that because of the new object editor it's changed the way I used to edit buffs, and thus I've never touched mpq editing since and sticked with the object editor. - and two, well frankly I was hoping there was a WE add on that allowed the editing process to be quicker...and yes therefore I'm lazy(but hey that should be obvious because I'm asking a question that I could probably figure out after tinkering for a few days) can anyone tell me the best method of doing this? Well, I won't tell you which is better, but I believe both of the most current World Edit enhancers, World Edit Unlimited and UMSWE 4.0, add buffs to the Object Editor for editing. And of course the rumors are flying that Blizzard's massive 1.13 update will include a canon buff editor. But we'll just have to wait and see if Blizzy's Chrismtas present to us is that nice. I do not believe that the Object Editor significantly impacts editing buffs the old-fashioned way, however, but as I don't have too much experience with this, I can't guarantee that. |
