I'm making a trigger spell, that adds 2 auras to the hero, he can then again remove them. BUT, the problem I'm having, is that if the skill is among one of the first to be learned (eg, level 1) it will override 2 other spells, once the free spots are filled. Lemme draw this: xxxx xoox oooo x= Used spot (stop, patrol, attack and so on) o= Unused spot Now, he learnes this skill level 1 and it looks like this (know this is pointing out the obvious, but hear me out :P) xxxx xoox dooo d= Learned Skill Now, he uses the skill, and the two aura icons apear: xxxx xuux dooo u= Aura icons He then removes them again after a bit, and levels up, gaining skills: xxxx xddx dddd d= Newly learned skills If he tries to use the aura skill again, it will add the aura icons like this: xxxx xuux dddd Exactly like before, replacing the skills learned (eg, they can't be used) What I was thinking, was if u could make an icon that was invisible to apear, so you could still see the underlying icons. Or would the spot simply turn green and push the other icons away anyways? IF so, how can this be fixed? Please help me out here :) |

Can't fix it. You don't need those two aura icons. Wrong forum. |

You must know why it can't be fixed? You don't need thoes two aura icons: No of course I don't need them, but wth to do about it?! Wrong forum: Which forum then ?! Geez Anyways, I found another way, so this post is irelevant now :) |

What's wrong about a marble statue of Mother Teresa doing cartwheels on top of a flying Boeing 747 while whistling The Star Spangled Banner? You don't need them? So you're just creating extra work for yourself while compromising the playability of your map? What forum should it be in? Oh come on, use your common sense. |

Ok Zachary, I think this is what aaro was getting at: 1- The buttons are not underneath, they are pushed off of the grid. You cannot have more buttons then free spaces. 2- There are other methods such as having a dummy unit with the auras following the caster, or doing the effects through triggers. 3- The mapping forum for sure. |

Since the topic was refering to icons, and if it was possible to create invisible ones, It was ment to be here.. But either way, you are right about the 2 first ones :) I did a dummy unit with the auras. But if he ment to say that, why not just say it? Thanks for your response R2 :) now...close this pls!? |

Hmm, perhaps that helps: Why not making two heros - one the first aura and one with the second - each of them could be replaced by the other. Hope that helps! |

Because I thought you had enough gray matter to figure it out. Obviously, I was proven wrong. |
