Crashing World Editor :(

Recently my world editor has begun to crash on my map. It crashes spontaneously, from anywhere between 1 and 60 minutes. I'm doing different things when it crashes and I can't figure out the problem.

I'm also using UMSWE 4.0, which I have fully and properly uninstalled and reinstalled with the hotfix.

Could anyone please help? It's really slowing down my progress on my map. :(

The world editor crashes. It may or may not be my map. In order to find out if it is my map, I would have to start another map and edit it for a huge amount of time to be sure it wont crash.

yeah I uninstalled WC3 and reinstalled it... that worked for me. However I HAVE had my editor crash due to a map... if you have uploaded a corrupt file and try to do something in the editor with it you can have a crash... since units or other things from an imported file can show up in several places this is possible.. However I would try reinstalling. Other than that I can't help you. The main thing is to make sure your memory is fresh before using the editor... it is an insanely monstrous program. Starting it, quitting it and starting it again several times without a computer restart is a recipe for disaster.

Thanks! Reinstalling seemed to do the trick.
