Well let's get started then. The objective: To compose a track that is inspired by the picture attached. The rules - Your final track has to be in mp3 format. - You have to link to your track yourself, so take care of your own hosting for it. - You got until the deadline to post your link, to your piece in this thread. - Add a little paragraph of text, as to how you interpreted the picture. - After the time is over I will gather all links, and make a poll out of it where all forummers can judge our works. Example: I see a picture of an orcish horde and a human alliance racing towards each other on a battlefield. I feel inspired to write a very epic action piece in Warcraft 3 style. I write it, post a link to it and add a little flavour text "As two forced collide the lands of Azeroth are once again beset by conflict." Then again I could have interpreted the picture as a slightly more dramatic thing, and I could have composed something with lots of choirs accentuating the sadness of the ongoing war. "War, it is a bad thing, yada yada yada." If your all new to composing I suggest you to check out the composer tutorial(s) in this forum. It is all up to you, you can post progresses, updates, and the likes here. If your entering post here. So for this months picture |

Right update SoundSync made a good suggestion. Don't post your stuff. Let's keep it anonymous. Only thing is... for example my host, people will know a track is from me if the url is maglokmedia.gameproc.com! :D Anyone got an idea for that? |

I have a BrokenEdge Ftp. ~SOuNDSNC P.S. heh...a whole month to compose a piece of music? It takes me a full day. ;) |

People do have other things to do. So how would that work we get to upload to that FTP? Cause then it can be REALLY anonymous, seeing as you just up your mp3 and an accompanying txt file. |

That's right. Later on anyone with thier stuff done can pm me, I'lll give them the username and password to the ftp and they can upload it on there. RULES: Make a folder with your name, put your musicand you text file saying whatever you want to say in it. Files MUST be mp3 and .txt . Once everyone has thier things uploaded, I will make a thread, and a poll so that everyone can vote the Best music! ~SOuNDSNC P.S. of course...I'll change the password of my ftp afterwards. =P |

Oh I disagree on naming a dir. Just name your mp3 and txt the same like: Destruction.mp3 Destruction.txt Else we can still identify who made what. |

lolz here is my song sorry i didn't change the title yet i thought this one would be good... lolz i hope you like it though i made this, i saw the mages fightning in the epic battle agains that big peice of **** lolz and, well they start fighting and start casting spells .etc and the battle gets heated up when 1 mage dies and the other starts fleeing into the giant castle behind them the THING starts following him,,, and well it goes from there i hope you like it:ggani: |

Somehow I have trouble believing you made that... Sounds from MegaMan X... If you did made it sorry, but I have a hard time believing it. What did you use to make it? Secondly you obviously didn't read the rules, read the rules then come back. |

Well you should tell me so we can check if you indeed made it. Cause then you can sent the work file to someone with the prog to confirm. Besides it would show you indeed know what your talking about. And if it works out then you made a good piece indeed. :) EDIT: And keep the unnesecary swearing to a minimum please. |
