hi, giving one uit's animation the an other unit is realy a hard stuff... i dont think youll find someone easyly because you have to make all the anims from scrash, you canot copy/paste the bandit's anims because bones are not at the same place...
amready talked about here

The bandit's bones/anims are very similar to the footman, watch the editor. Maybe it's easier for people when they're very alike. I know its possible cause ive seen it before.

ok they are similar but you said you had a model with no animations right ?

so if you want the anims (even if you have the bones and the correct weight table (that is far from sure if you modified the model)) you have to define all of the bones positions at all of the keyframes... thats not impossible but a realy hard job when you cano preview your model (look at the attached picture on the topic i gave you the link) ... let's guess a model has 20 bones (it has usualy more) and 10 keyframes at least each bone... then you have to "copy paste" 3 rotation and 3 position coordinates each time what makes 1200 pastes... ok thats not the right way...
even worse threw mdl editing... you have to do those copy pastes i was talking about in a text file and then copy paste the wheight table too (what is impossible cause vertices dont have the same name in both models)
so if someone dont tell me an easier way i would be unable to do it.. am sory ....

And what if i'd just give the new model's geosets to the original one, the one still with anims. Would that work?

do you wan to import the new geosets to the original models to conserve anims and then hide the original geosets ?
if you want so ok you can you only have to make a new weight tables and you also have to do the same job you have to do when importing and exporting a blizz model (i.e. in the mdl pasting the particle emitters, the attachements, the textures, the materials... all that is destroyed when imorting/exporting) ... that can be much less work than the previous method i said because weight table would be nearly the same as the original ones'...
