So, I was thinking about some campaigns and stories I'd like to tell using WarCraft 3, and I found some interesting inspiration in World of WarCraft. You see, in World of WarCraft you can play as an undead character. I like this new way of looking at the undead; instead of mindless killers, they have thoughts, feelings and stories apart from the person from whom they were animated from. Anyway, you could set it in a town overtaken by the Scourge. There, some zombie, or ghoul, or skeleton (or whatever undead), 'wakes up'. They stop being mindless and are released from the control of the Lich King. Then, a few other undead begin to wake up. Eventually, the Necromancers find out and come to put the awakened undead to death. With the Necromancers killing off their kin, the awakened undead flee. They undertake the impossible mission of sneaking south, though Lordaeron, past Dun Morgh and the Dwarves and finding refuge in Azeroth. Along the way they find more of their kind. Some of them become great warriors, while others dabble into the dark arts, eventually discover the way to bring the mindless undead to enlightenment. I really think this is an interesting idea, so I'm putting it out there to get some opinions. Let me know what you think. |

Sounds like the Borg from Star-Trek. Nice idea... will keep an eye on this thread. I'm a keen fan of undead. |

NICE IDEA!!:D Ill check this forum out later, keep us informed... What hero you planning on? Hopefully not a dreadlord, since they are an old member of the Scourge/Legion and would never betray it...and possibly the same with Lich... If u ask me, make hero DK or Lich, but maybe you dont want heros? Keep me informed.... |

Maybe custom heros would be better, zombie one. Looks like a good idea, proveded it does not sink or never start. |
