ok, since I'm not getting any help by explaining my problem.. I've attached a simple model file, with a single stand animation. It's a .max file, kuz I can't seem to export it. If somebody who knows what they're doing can Please! take a look at it and tell me what I've got wrong (I don't just want you to export it and give me the mdl/mdx version) I would be eternally grateful. Thx in advance |

your model works but... colapse all of your modifiers reset your meshes origin to the scenes origin reset scale and transform all than on all of your meshes... that can meake you avoid some troobles |

Ok, when I collapse the modifiers it removes all the animations, kuz the 'Skin' modifier is dependant on another one or something like that. The other two things I couldn't find where to do them. And I don't even know what the third one means. You're going to have to be more specific. What version of 3dsmax are you using? That may be the problem with the collapsing thing, if we have different versions, I dunno... I'm still relatively new to 3dsmax, so bear with me. I think I'm doing pretty well so far. |

He means you should have collapsed it before you added the skin modifier. It needs to only show as an editable mesh with nothing else in the stack. |

oh, man... Yeah i read the dex tut, but I skipped to the animating/exporting section kuz I was already finished the mesh.. I'm an idiot, oh well. |
