You get points when you post, or when people view/reply to your topic. You also get points (or lose them) if someone rates an attachment you have posted.
You can use points to buy stuff in the store, such as different username colors, glow and italics, changing your title and avatar, and other stuff like that.
The store is here. If you're on the Night Elf theme, you can also click "Forums" and near the top right, it says "Spend your Points at the store". I really hope I don't have to tell you what to do from there.
same with you jana, you always post in every thread going on about how people only post to get points when really im sure the only reason you do this is to get points.... the whole thing is stupid wouldnt it just be cool if we all could just have colored glowing text anyway... instead of having to spam to get it
