I wonder if there exists an MDX EXPORTER for gmax.... i know it exists an importer 'cause that i have.... Or if it exists an mdl thingy for gmax....

If you're trying to ask for a gmax->mdx or gmax->mdl converter, then it doesn't exist. There are model _IMPORTERS_ which allow you open mdx files and edit them, but you can't save them as MDX files.

Don't go for an mdx, try using an obj exporter then changing it to an mdx with the mdxtexteditor.

The internet. Search for a Wavefront OBJ importer Exporter and provide a link to us so other users with the same problem don't have to make new topics.

I am assuming that 3DSMax and Gmax use the same format for plugins as Gmax is basically a toned down version of 3DS with 'modules' that you can add in to make editing game models easier.

see if the plugins at maxplugins.de work.

Look..... scripts works the same for 3dsmax but plugins doesent.... 3ds takes .dli .dlm .dle and other files but gmax only can use .dlu ......

My script import mdx files. It works for gmax as well as max 4+. I'm working on export functions for it which should also work for gmax but will require max 4.2+ (free upgrade from 4 to 4.2). The export functions are going very well at the moment as you can see from this post: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/s...&threadid=3719 so you shouldn't have to wait too long.
