What happened to Stormwind?

Does anyone know what happened to Stormwind? I want to make a map set there but it'd be a bit pointless if it has been razed or destroyed in some other way.

It was destroyed in wc1, but i think it has since been rebuilt and will be in Wow

That's a cute sig and all, but there's no way I'm going to want to read that, oh, say, more than once. Could you shrink it down/reduce its font size/put all that in your profile somewhere?

I've seen stormwind in the first human level in Beyond the Dark Portal, and if my memory isn't failing the orcs didn't destroy it in that game.
