Revolutionary ideas for a kick a** goblin race go here

I want to make a goblin race
I have some ideas and was wondering what everyone thought of them:
1.I took a goblin model i found at campaign creations and then made a special effect using its model on the chest of a riderless wyvren so it looks like the goblin is riding it. I did the same with the misha model. it looks pretty cool.
2.I used special effects to attach a shovel to the goblin model I found to make it into a worker.
3.Im not very good at modeling:nono:, but im gonna try to change goblin sapper and custom Campaign Creations goblin model to make more units.
4. Also maybe someone could make some goblin models for me? I don't have very many points(2-3) :(, so if nobody makes em for free, its ok.

Are these good ideas?

Sounds like you've got about 4 models lined up. I don't think that quite qualifies as a race yet, but your idea isn't without merit.

Do you have some kind of plot in mind? What kind of map are you thinking about making? Is this more than just a desire to use goblins?

Im thinking of making it something like goblins-ogers-dwarves-maybe some others
Heres some ideas for ogers and dwarves
Ogers:
Beastmaster hero
remodel orges- ogre nerco?
story line: along with the goblins, orges disbanded from horde. Now they want to join up with the gobs again, but gobs say no. Hatreds are formed.

Dwarves
Mountain King
Dwarven Mage (Moddling Skinning?)
New skinned units
story: are on a crusade when caght in the middle of gob-orge war. Realize this could be a prob for dwarf homeland (ill figure out a way to make this work)

Goblin story: Striving from years of peaceful life as merchants, the gobs turned down an offer to join back up with the orges. They think they have no probs but now orges are mad. They need the gobs superior technologies for their "new and powerful legion destined for domination", and are planning to enslave the gobs and make them work for them! The gobs make ready for the coming... of the age of merchants!

its a good idea but no offense u should use the current moddels already in Wc3, cuz all those models will just slow down DL and Load time, and with a map like that its most likely ppl will like it just as much if its crappy as if it has good models.
although i like the idea as is its just something id point out

hmm, id say you need a fourth race... how about throwing in murlocs... they are through screwing with us with their scouting parties and are now launching a full scale invasion from their sea capital of Mur-lantis! lol

Maybe Pandas or Murlocs. Both sound good to me.

Also I might still need some models. Murlocs would be easier than Pandas....maybe I could have an all sea creatures race for the fourth one?

Is so addicted to playing with fire that he has delved into its secrets and hidden powers.
Abilities: Unknown(to be released)
Intel based hero: has a fire attack
what he looks like: a less-green gob with fire burning on a weapon in right hand

Also, could someone tell me how to do screenshots in War3? Then i could post a pic of him. :D

And finally, how do u make a menu at begining to choose race?

Hit the print screen button on your keyboard to take sshots in wc3.

For the dialog menu, you need to use triggers.
