I decided to create my first community released cinematic and I thought I would post the script and the first screen shots. This project is only 2 days old so there isn't a lot of progress but I was wondering if I could get some constructive critism on what to improve. script for trailer that will hopefully be released in two weeks( depending on how much homework I get): (Poem-Intro) I look upon the oceans of heaven They sing to me a song of sorrow A lament, a dirge of things that have to die The melancholy of man makes angels cry We foolish mortals, tools of tragic fate Look never soon enough to see the tides of peril Until they have drown us in our own misery Cursed by fate, he who lives must die (Priest Writing at Desk) Year...612...of the...Second…Age of Man The life of… our Noble King Celeres… has expired For nearly… 72 hours he… lay in bed …plagued by a sudden malady This mysterious ailment …has been entitled… by our healers as: detestor de mortalis Celeres did not name an heir and this simple Priest knows not what will become of our kingdom (Fade) (Outside a castle, a light rain is falling and a knight is holding the reins of two horses. The doors open and a man emerges) “Fools, they all want to be king� “My Lord…Than the council is still undecided?� “Yes, I grow tiresome of this business. It matters not that the king did not choose a successor. I have more right to rule than most! “There will be dark days ahead of us.� “A shadow falls upon this God forsaken country; A can feel its presence on the breeze. If its war they want, then it is war they shall get. Come, we have work to do. “Yes, sire� (Scene Fades) (A battle unfolds upon the a blood stained field) (Scene Fades) (A new scene) (We see a peculiar figure resting on a throne.) “I assume everything is in order� “Yes my lord� “I can not allow you to fail in this endeavor, we walk upon the blade of a dagger, one false move and all my plans will be fruitless.� “Worry not my lord; I have not failed you yet� “See that you continue to do so; I have little tolerance for failure� (End of Trailer) |

Are those cubes pathing blockers? If so, you don't really need them there, because the fence's pathing already blocks units from going up those hills. Another tip, press "I" to hide the checkered cubes when you take your screenshots. |

Thanks for the help No, those fences are custom built so they display a box for some reason when I place them. Does anyone know how to modify cliff types with the umswe or regular editor? |

uh...the terrain is horrible...and the buildings aren't to much better...try to add some fine detail instead of just throwing some mountains together |
